“Look around. Look at what we have. Beauty is everywhere—you only have to look to see it.”
-Bob Ross, "The Joy of Painting"
My name is Meredith Flynn and I am an artist and maker living near Richmond, VA. Originally from Ohio, I graduated with my art degree from Alma College in Alma, Michigan (Go Scots!). After years of apprenticing in hand engraving at The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, I became a certified Journeyman through the Commonwealth of Virginia.
I'm currently the mom to two crazy fur babies (Rooney and Magyar), I am often inspired to create by my pets and the people I love the most. My favorite mediums are precious metals, graphite, charcoal and acrylic. I love art for the constant joy it brings me when I create (which can only be compared to doggie snuggles!) and for the unique challenges it brings as I manipulate objects into something completely new. My greatest love is collaborating with clients to create custom pieces.
My other business pursuits include collaborating with like-minded women entrepreneurs who are looking to lock arms and ignite their business goals.
In my spare time, I can be found road cycling, hiking, wine tasting, and going on foodie adventures with my husband James.
